The adult male has a distinctive scarlet red head and crest, with the rest of the body slate-grey. They may face behavioral issues when their emotional needs do not get fulfilled. The Gang-gang Cockatoo, or Gang Gang for short, is a small, stocky cockatoo with a wispy crest, large, broad wings and a short tail. Cucaktoos are super-demanding yet the best cuddly and playful pets. The Gang-gang Cockatoo (Callocephalon fimbriatum) is seen infrequently in most places and its poulation decline of over 70 in the last few years has caused it to be a strong contender as an endangered species. Cockatoos have a brilliant crest of plumage on their head that makes them unique. This migratory species is declining rapidly due to the loss of around 87% of its woodland breeding habitat and as a result is listed as endangered. Cockatoo is a lively, playful, and energetic bird mainly known for its talkative nature. This includes the endangered Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo of south-west Western Australia.
